What can I do with this app?

This app is meant to help you plan, organize and schedule your time before, during and after the Show. Whether it is session or events you would like to attend, exhibitors or products you would like to see, you can add items to your shortlist with one tap on the star. Everything you shortlist is pulled together, sorted, and saved under Bookmarks. Plus, you can take notes on these items, add them to your Agenda, and even export them to your device’s calendar.

  • Signing in - The best way to take advantage of a full array of unique features available in the App. Complete your profile, find your peers, chat with your friends, even share your location to meet for lunch. If you haven’t already signed in, go to the top of the Home Page of the App and tap Sign In. You will need your badge number and the last name you used when you registered.
  • Explore - Search for exhibitors, sessions and abstracts; browse by market category, view by Date, Topic or Speaker.
  • Add Exhibitors, Sessions and Events to your Bookmarks - Explore exhibitors and events and add the ones that matter to you to Bookmarks, by tapping the star near the company or event, so you can find them easily afterwards (iPhone and Android only).
  • Connect - a section entirely devoted to helping you interact with friends, clients and colleagues. Browse the list of attendees and chat away. You can even share your location when you are ready to meet and the App will guide you to your next opportunity.

TIP: Search the app from the Home screen and get results organized by categories.

  • Schedule - Make the most of your time by scheduling exhibitors, sessions and other types of events using your Agenda. Pre-select what you would like to see before you arrive or add them as you go (iPhone and Android only) by clicking the Add to Agenda icon.
  • Navigate - You can navigate through the entire exhibit hall using the mobile Map by creating a new route or modifying an existing one; simply touch a booth or use the navigation buttons to search for exhibitors and determine your position and destination (iPhone and Android only).

  • Stay up-to-date - With live Show News updates you’ll be the first to know what’s happening, check your Inbox for the notifications on the Home page by clicking the notification bell on iOS and the inbox from the left side bar menu on Android.

  • Enable Push Notifications to receive useful tips and live updates on the App, don't miss out on the action!

What is Bookmarks and how do I use it?

You can create your own lists of Exhibitors and Events for future reference and store them in Bookmarks as a "shortlist". To add an Exhibitor or an Event to Bookmarks, simply tap the Star icon at the top left of the detail page.

Bookmarks can be accessed from the Home page using the Bookmarks icon.

 

I’ve found an exhibitor on the app that I find interesting, now what?

From an Exhibitor's page, you can:

  •  Add them to Bookmarks for future reference
  •  Add a Note to yourself; simply tap the pencil icon labeled Note on the exhibitor information page
  •  Add them to your Agenda to make sure you visit this booth
  •  Locate them on the Map and route to or from it

How do I export the Notes that I’ve created in the app?

From the main screen:

  • Tap on “Bookmarks”
  • Tap on “My Notes”
  • Tap on the icon in the upper-right-hand corner of the screen to send the information
  • Tap on the option to “Mail Notes”
  • All the Notes in the system will be displayed, type in the email address to whom you would like the information emailed.
  • The recipient can then cut-and-paste the notes into another application.

Do I need an Internet connection to use this app?

The app runs best when connected to internet, but can still be used without. An internet connection will allow the app to get data updates, load images and sync Bookmarks and other information.

 

Does the app work after the event is over?

You can use the app throughout the year as a reference to Exhibitor information, Sessions and other information; you can also use it to go through Bookmarks and Notes to follow up on contacts and sales leads. You may even email your notes to yourself.  See the instructions above.
