Patients with sarcoidosis need a provider who is able to surveil and manage both the pulmonary and extra pulmonary manifestations of the disease. As 94% of patients with sarcoidosis will have pulmonary involvement at some point in their disease, the pulmonologist has begun to take on the role of the primary disease manager. The seminar will provide recommendations on surveillance and screening, and review available guidelines on initial evaluation and referral based on organ system involvement
