The seminar will be focused on outlining the current diagnostic strategies and staging of neuromuscular respiratory failure. Treatment modalities and respiratory assistive devices will be discussed by disease stage. Differences between pediatric and adult approaches to NIPPV will be discussed as well as recommendations on how to bridge these patients into the adult pulmonary realm.
