After attending this session, learners will know the indications for and interpretation of overnight polysomnograms for the complex pediatric patient. Patient populations covered will include the child with neuromuscular disease, genetic and craniofacial syndromes, obesity, chronic respiratory disease, prematurity, and chiari malformation. Application of this new knowledge to clinical decision making and management of sleep disordered breathing in these special populations will be emphasized. Knowledge retention and competency development will be tested in a pre test/post test question based format.
