This session will discuss current uses and applications of telemedicine in the settings of pulmonary diseases, critical care, and sleep medicine. The session will highlight the current innovative uses as well as challenges for the care team. Emphasis will be spent on discussing how high level and medical decision making, team-based care, and potentially clinical research can be performed through telemedicine. Clinical focus will be on tumor nodule management/lung cancer, large datasets in critical care, and COPD.
