Despite aggressive immunosuppressive therapy, some patients with connective tissue-associated interstitial lung disease (CT-ILD) continue to progress to advanced fibrosis. Given the frequency of systemic manifestations of disease, proceeding to lung transplant is often a complicated decision. This session will review the indications for lung transplant in CT-ILD as well as both pre- and post-transplant management of common complications in this population.
