Chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) has been an under-appreciated topic. UCSD has a long tradition of doing surgery (PTE) for these patients. However, with the approval of new medication and the emergence of angioplasty, the management of these patients has become more complicated. We will have experienced faculty discuss the pros and cons of the various therapeutic approaches.
