This sunrise session will provide early career professionals and community pulmonologists with one hour presentation on “Diagnostic approach to adult patient with diffuse cystic lung disease”. The presentation will focus on the diagnostic approach to patient who presents with "diffuse cysts" in the lung. The session will have algorithms, flowcharts and high quality images of the "true" cystic lung diseases (PLCH, LAM, Birt Hogg Dube, LIP, Amyloidosis and Light Chain Deposition Disease). Significant clinical features, laboratory abnormalities and radiographic features of individual cystic lung diseases will be discussed .It will also discuss the "cyst mimics" (emphysema, pneumatocoeles, bronchiectasis etc) that frequently resemble true cystic lung disease.
