Description

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is an extremely prevalent disorder with cardiovascular and neurocognitive consequences. Importantly, more than half of all OSA patients can be classified as supine related OSA which has important implications for the treatment of the disorder. The session will review the classification of positional OSA, discuss the pathogenic factors that cause it and assess the efficacy of current treatments.
