San Diego International Airport has a variety of convenient transportation options to get to the heart of downtown San Diego, from Public Transportation and Shuttles to Taxis, Ride Shares and Rental Cars.

BUSES
There are nearly 100 fixed bus routes and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) complementary paratransit service (MTS Access). Fixed route bus services include local, urban, express, premium express and rural routes.

TRAIN
Santa Fe Train Depot located in downtown San Diego is home to Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner and the Coaster Commuter train giving attendees even more options to access downtown.
With stops from San Luis Obispo to San Diego, the Pacific Surfliner offers scenic views of the Pacific Ocean as you wind your way down the California coastline to downtown San Diego.

TROLLEY
The San Diego Trolley, a light rail operating system, has three lines of service (the U.C. San Diego Blue, Orange and Green Lines). Public transit service for these routes is provided for Central, South, Northeast and Southeast San Diego County.

HERTZ CAR RENTAL
Hertz is the official car rental company for the ATS 2018 International Conference. To reserve special meeting rates call 800-654-2240 or 405-749-4434, or visit hertz.com. Please include promo code CV#04AC0009 when making reservations. At the time of reservation, meeting rates will be automatically compared to other Hertz rates and the best rate will apply.
Meeting rates include unlimited mileage and are subject to availability. Advance reservations are recommended, blackout dates may apply. Government surcharges, taxes, tax reimbursement, airport related fees, vehicle licensing fees and optional items, such as refueling or additional driver fees, are extra. Minimum rental age is 20 (age differential charge for 20-24 applies). Standard rental conditions and qualifications apply. Vehicles can be returned to most Southern California locations. In the continental U.S. and Canada, weekend rentals are available for pick-up between noon Thursday and noon Sunday and must be returned no later than Monday at 11:59 p.m. Thursday pick-up requires a minimum three-day keep. Friday pick-up requires a minimum two day keep, and Saturday and Sunday pick-up require a minimum one-day keep. Weekly rentals are from five to seven days. Extra day rate for weekly rentals will be 1/5 of the weekly rate.

TAXI SERVICE
Taxis depart from the designated taxi zones located at the transit islands, on the Arrivals/Baggage Claim Level adjacent to each terminal.
Many companies provide taxicab service at San Diego International Airport. If you need a taxi, simply follow the signs leading to the Transportation Plazas. A Customer Service Representative will place you with the first available taxi, unless you specify a particular taxicab company. The estimated fare to a downtown destination is $20 depending on location (please take rush hour into account when calculating time and fare).

RIDE SHARE
Several companies offer Ride Share services at San Diego International Airport. Travelers can be dropped off curbside at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Designated Ride Share passenger pick-up locations are listed below:
Terminal 1: Exit baggage claim via the escalators, walk across the Sky Bridge toward Ground Transportation and the parking lot, exit down the escalators toward the parking lot, and the location is at the foot of the escalators along the sidewalk.
Terminal 2: Upon exiting baggage claim, proceed toward the Elevated Departure Roadway. The location is between American and Delta/United check-in. Look for the red umbrella.
